General Ordering Information

Set Up

To qualify for wholesale purchases, you must be a valid distribution, wholesale or retail business and you must submit a copy of your VAT certificate (first orders only) and an executed copy of this Agreement before your first order is shipped. By placing an order with etúHOME and providing the VAT certificate, you are representing that you are the owner, agent or representative of a currently valid business and that the transaction being made is a wholesale, tax exempt purchase for resale. All sales are final.

Minimum Order: €500

Transport: additional, calculated after the order is placed

Fast and convenient, our website not only enables you to point, click and purchase, after you register for an account with us, it also allows you to view your order history and create a Wish List. We ask that you review your order carefully prior to submission, as it helps expedite the process. Once you’ve finished placing your order, you’ll immediately be given an order confirmation number. We’ll also send you an email with this and full details of your order, including a pro forma invoice with the payment information included. 



All orders shall be placed with an Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT). etúHOME requires payment prior to shipping your order or at the time of production (for special orders) for the entire purchase price of the order plus freight. Orders may be canceled within five (5) business days of the order placement.



Our goal is to ship your order as quickly as possible. As our items are made to order and finished by hand, please allow up to four (4) weeks to receive your order. If you need your order by a specific date, please contact us. Please note that transit times for each shipping carrier may vary. etúHOME is not responsible for any delay in delivery once your order has been picked up by a shipping carrier. Express shipping options and any other third-party fees are non-refundable.


Missing Items

Should you receive an incomplete order, please check your invoice first (the form inside your box) to see a list of the exact items that should be in your parcel. If something is listed but not in your parcel, please contact us immediately. 


Damage Claims

etúHOME makes every commercially reasonable effort to pack with carrier approved materials. All orders leave the etúHOME warehouse intact and in perfect condition. etúHOME is not responsible for damage in transit. We insure all packages with the carrier for the wholesale purchase price. If your shipment is damaged in transit you agree to contact us in writing via e-mail to within forty-eight (48) hours of delivery. All damage claims must be supported by photographs of the damaged piece(s). You also agree to save all packaging materials and product. You further agree not to cancel or contest payment or deduct from any invoice any amount due to etúHOME as a result of a damage claim. The carrier will conduct an investigation for the damage claim and either they or etúHOME will contact you once the investigation is concluded to resolve the issue. In order to file a claim on an LTL frieght shipment, the driver must be notified at the time of delivery and written documentation must be made with the driver on any loss or damage. Please e-mail our offices a copy of the paperwork stating the product was received damaged and provide the driver's acknowledgement of the damage.


Returns / Defects

Any claim for defective merchandise must be reported to etúHOME via e-mail within forty-eight (48) hours of delivery. etúHOME does not accept returns of first quality merchandise for any reason. All products are made from 19th century European wood, recycled glass and other salvaged materials. No two are exactly alike, therefore the item you receive will be similar but not exactly the same as the item you see at market, in our catalog or on our web site. Our objects can show signs of age and use, a desired characteritsic. Contact us in the event you receive defective merchandise via writing. All returns must be approved in advance by etúHOME via an RA Number (Return Authorization Number). Upon our receipt of the returned product, a full credit minus the cost of shipping, will be issued promptly to a future order. Please note that we cannot offer exchanges.


Customs + Duty Charges 

We recommend that you check the import charges applicable in any non-EU country before ordering products to be delivered there. You (or the recipient of the products, if different) will be the importer for all international deliveries of the products. Before placing an order, it's your responsibility to check that any products ordered comply with state and federal government import regulations, and that there are no local requirements or restrictions which may affect your goods. If your order gets stuck in customs, the recipient needs to contact their local customs office and pay any additional charges or taxes to release the goods. etúHOME cannot do this on your behalf.



We require registration as we only sell to the trade. This ensures that you are a valid re-seller and are eligible to purchase at the wholesale level. When you sign in and register with our site for the first time you can create your account page which details your contact, communication, and delivery information. Once entered, your details will be securely stored so you don’t have to enter them again when you make your next order. If you sign in, you’ll also be able to view your order history or edit your account information at any time. Not only will this make your checkout process speedier, you’ll also benefit from receiving e-mails with noteworthy announcements.
